7 BEST GIFTS

To celebrate Good Friday and Easter Day, we will make remembrance of what Lord Jesus has teach and done when He lived in the world for three years and a half month. Lord Jesus has given the best gifts to Himself and the human being in this world and now we will discuss about for whom the best gifts is given and what the best gifts are

1) Ourselves

The fist best gift is given to ourselves, that is to love ourselves. Lord Jesus has said in Mat 22:39 (KJV),"And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." Lord Jesus is willing to say that if anyone can't love themselves, they will not able to love their neighbour. Apostle Paul has said in Romans 12:1 (KJV),"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."

2) Father

The second best gift is given to our father, that is to respect him. King Solomon has said in Proverbs 4:4 (KJV),"He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live." and Lord Jesus, as He lived in this world, also respect and obey His Father, as it is writen in John 4:34 (KJV),"Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work." and it is one of the ways of loving ourselves.

3) Mother

The third best gift is given to our mother, that is to do anything that make her proud. King Solomon has said in Proverbs 23:25 (KJV),"Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice." and something can make her rejoice is to do anything that make her proud.

4) Sons/daughters

The fourth best gift is given to our sons/daughters, that is the example. Lord Jesus has said in John 13:15 (KJV),"For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you." and Apostle Peter has said in I Peter 2:21 (KJV),"For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps."

5) Friends

The fifth best gift is given to our friends, that is the trust. King Solomon has said in Proverbs 17:17 (KJV),"A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity." Lord Jesus is the only one true friend who can be believed, as He said in John 15:15 (KJV),"Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you."

6) Relation people

The sixth best gift is given to our relation people, that is the genuine love. Apostle Paul has said in Rom 12:9 (RSV),"Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good." and Lord Jesus has said in John 15:12-13 (KJV),"This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

7) Enemies

The seventh best gift is given to our enemies, that is our prayer and forgiveness. Lord Jesus has given us the example about prayer and forgiveness, as He was crucified on the Calvary, as it is writen in Luke 23:34a (KJV),"Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do."
